The Orchestra would be launching a groundbreaking residency and tour of China—the first-ever collaboration of this kind—but it needed additional funding to help realize the dream.
Music is indeed a universal language.
Grimm & Grove took its ability to create connections to an international level, finding community partners throughout China who participated in the program, while also procuring significant funding from companies in both China and the U.S.
The pilot residency was such a resounding success for both the Orchestra and the people of China that the Orchestra committed to a five-year program that has since been extended to ten years.
